What is your slow site actually costing you?

Drag four sliders and I'll show you the revenue a slow load time is quietly draining from your business, every month and every year. No signup, no upload, the math runs right here in your browser.

Not sure? Most small-business sites I test land between 4 and 8 seconds on mobile.

How I calculate this

The baseline is a 2.5 second load, which is Google's threshold for a good Largest Contentful Paint. Published industry studies put conversion loss at roughly 7 percent for every extra second past that. So the formula is:

lost revenue = visitors × conversion rate × average sale × min(0.07 × max(load − 2.5, 0), 0.6)

The loss is capped at 60 percent because no study supports losses beyond that, even on very slow sites.

This is an illustrative estimate based on published industry averages, not a promise. Your real numbers depend on your market, your traffic quality, and your site.

Find out your real load time.

This calculator is only as good as the load time you feed it. Run my free speed test to get your actual number, then let's talk about closing the gap. Every site I build targets sub-second loads.
